Is Bloomingdale Farmers Market the best small market in town?

A great bluegrass band was jammin when I got there. What other market can boast that? But I think the heat was getting to them, as they were no longer playing when I left.

The heat was truly sweltering.



I got the blue cheese from the cheese stand. Mooolicious.



I got the champagne mango sorbetto. Zesty slushy goodness.

Who knows maybe Im a little late in saying this, but I think the Bloomingdale farmers market is one to watch. If they can combine entertainment with grocery shopping, socializing, utility (bike clinic), and coffee shop, it might just expand around the corner onto first sr around big bear next year.

If they could get some jewelry vendors involved in this, there would be no reason to even leave Bloomingdale on Sundays!

Throw some shoe vendors in there too for the hell of it. I wouldn't complain!
